In general, I usually make 5-10 posts with a fair amount of content a Day - that's how I play, I rarely post fluff or one-liners unless I'm poking someone - but in this game I look like a lurker!

I wasn't here much yesterday because I was a little depressed about how badly the Day went for us. meeko, myself and Lightfoot were the top three lynch candidates for a while there. And then today, I've been pretty busy.
As for Bill's case against me, the only other person who seemed convinced was septimus but he got his own share of votes. I'm not sure Bill could really convince everyone I was scum. Do I look scummier now that meeko's alignment is known? I'm not sure. What's funny is that the things that Bill is accusing me of are exactly the things I would do as town.
I'm not sure what to think of his claim. It is very strange that he would go from third party to town. But if his win condition is to find Alice, he's not a PFK. I'm glad he claimed though because it explains how Colby turned up vanilla but had a name (and not a playing card). Although, usually when a player has a one-shot power, the reveal is of their actual role (one-shot nuker or whatever) so that was a little weird of Sister to say Colby was vanilla.
I like the idea of forcing a vote on Archangel. She has come up for lynching all three Days and yet has escaped and some have noticed. She barely said anything yesterDay and we could say it's because she wanted to lay low and not get heat like she did the last two Days. We could say she bussed meeko. Plus, it keeps with the theme. Who would she vote for? Herself?
As for killing, I know SP is very quiet but he didn't do anything last Night. He must have a power but what would it be? Could he have a Day power?
As for Bill, do we not think he might be protected? If not, I say we kill him. We can say that the scum want town to think he was on to me and so they killed him (thus leading town into a mislynch of innocent me!).

BTW it's archangel with just 3 posts Evil laugh, wringing of hands If we run true to former form Archangel should have her vote stolen BUT since we had our forced voter choose Archangel the first night could it backfire?

We could force Archangel to vote herself. If/when Metallic has to claim, she can say she didn't consider the possibility of forcing a vote on the same player (the PM looks like you need one player to steal the vote from and another to place the vote on) until someone suggested the possibility in the D3 thread (someone did say that maybe you can't force someone to vote yourself) and so you asked the Mod.
As for SP, Meeko would only see players who visited him, not what SP did or who SP visited.

As for SP having a day power, it's still a possibility AND is supported by his concern about Bill's lie detector statement "can't be evaluated until Friday".

I think we've established that a vote isn't stolen from one player and given to another, right? We could either have Archangel vote for herself or take the next lowest poster and make him/her vote for Archangel. The only thing I'm worried about is that I have been on Archangel for Days now. Is it too much? If I were town, I would definitely think she is scum but maybe I'm too focused on her. No one has said anything about it but does it make me look scummy? As for SP, wouldn't meeko have seen him leave and come back? If not, what is the point of a watcher? ~MS

I don't really understand what you mean about stealing a vote. I think we've established that a vote isn't stolen from one player and given to another, right? Right. I haven't seen your PM but the standard politician is: The Politician is a role that can "buy" or steal one player's vote each Night. He then control the stolen vote as well as his own the next Day." That's a tracker, not a watcher. From Meeko's original PM: "Each Night you may send me the name of one player. You will then be notified of any other player who targets your selected player during the Night."

In other news, more potentially useless information: 5 of the following 9 players are certainly Vanilla Town: Gnarly Septimus (definitely a Heart) Archangel Dirx Story Ma'at Rysto MHaye CIAS (not Ace or Queen of Hearts)
No-one has claimed the 2, 3, 4, 7 or 9 of Hearts and the only face cards remaining are the Ace (which I don't think can be considered a number) and the Queen.
The only roles we have not yet seen anyone claim, even partially are: Vigilante - for sure there is one Scotsman - I hope there isn't one, especially after the mass block of kills Lie Detector - essentially a second cop, possibly Suburban Jack of All Trades Gossip Doctor
3 of these characters remain in play (unless there's another Mary Ann type character lurking): The Duck The Lory The Caterpillar The Duchess The Hatter - Doctor? The Dormouse The Gryphon The Mock Turtle - Jack of all trades? Pat

Sorry, I needed a slight break from the game. So what is our plan of action. I think we need to go after Archangel or Septimus or Moley
I think it might be worth NKing Bill but I can see him being protected by the DOC. We need a kill tonight. I would go after SP or Rysto or Dirx
I will be around pretty much all day.

The first I heard of a possible blocking of all powers was in here N1 That was Meeko ignoring the fact that our politician's power had been successful N1. In the D3 thread, post 52, Honest Moley asked if it was possible that ALL night actions, or at least Night kills, were blocked N1. He mentions a mandatory vig Given that he's claimed a character and a power role (with a post restriction), I can only think of four situations where he'd ask that question: - he's the Vig and his kill didn't go through - he didn't submit an action N1 (possibly non-mandatory Vig, D1 didn't leave any obvious vig candidate but certainly not lie detector and probably not JOAT) - his action provides no result (but as a Doc, he'd think his protect had been successful so he's not the Doc, as Scotsman, he know he survived the Night) - he has a Day power Can you guys read his D3#52 and tell me what you think?

I read D3. P52 and I see what you mean.
He also states " A vigilante would take out the third-party, without question." Maybe he is the one that killed Fluid and I see where he mentioned that a Night Vig Kill on N1 is maybe not a mandatory thing and understands why it happens, if there are no sound targets.
With all this being said, do we really want to kill him? He is sort of our town idiot at the time. He has thrown suspicion on both ED (town) and swore that Meeko was not scum. He might be worth keeping around for a lynch since we can dis-credit him for his choices in play.
The only thing that I would argue about him not being the Town Vig is the fact that he complained about his posting restriction in the beginning of the game, although maybe he did not want to be lynched due to no participation.

If we have a fairly high level of confidence that we've found the Doc or Vig, we're best off using the NK. No matter how scummy they look, if we try to push for a mislynch, they'll claim and, unless one of us is going to counterclaim, they won't be lynched.
Archangel's defense of Bill is consistent with her being the Doc. Moley's comments on N1 are consistent with him being the Vig. Both are under a lot of suspicion so we should avoid killing them unless the evidence is sufficiently strong.
I'm still not finished re-reading but will post some more thoughts later.

I'm re-reading Day 3 and I'll just post what pops out at me here:
Rysto (5): And that's why third-parties shouldn't claim early. Sorry to see you go, fluid, but I would guess that whoever our Vig is decided they couldn't leave a third-party alive.
septimus (47): I'm getting good Town vibes from most of the active players. One or more of them might be clever Scum, but I'm more inclined to look at the less active players. [and this is one of those things that others are doing but for some reason it makes me the one who is scum to BillMc]
Archangel (50): Checking in. Not good news except it does appear that we probably have a town vig (Fluiddruid), which is a good thing
CIAS (60): If fluiddruid was going to place a vote then it points at a roleblocker being around. [who has said anything about a roleblocker up to this point? could CIAS be a roleblocker?]
[I've been thinking about BillMc's post 72 where he talks about how he "thinks" colby wasn't killed by scum. When he later claims that he killed colby, I wonder what he was trying to accomplish with this post 72. Did he just want to see what others would say? He seems to be misleading town. Also, he knew that colby wasn't vanilla and yet keeps arguing that scum killing a vanilla town doesn't make any sense. ]
Honest Moley (81): the absolute last thing he'd do would be to add in something like that about Colby after he'd died. [again, another example of another player saying something similar to me but BillMc just ignores it]
Septimus (101): And I think a lying Meeko would worry that the vote-for-the-dead mechanic is too strange (and might even provoke Mod refutation), so I'm inclined to believe that, whether Scum or not, he did get the PM.
[Guiri had a post in there as well basically defending meeko. I don't know if all of this is enough to make a case against BillMc toMorrow but I really don't know why he's coming after me. ]
[I also just realized that one of Archangel's three posts was to correct the format of her vote. She said in her post 115 that she would re-read everything and be back and she never did.]
[BillMc never responded to my post 178.]
BillMc (187): We can lynch Meeko, or even Squink, and if I am wrong, then the vig can quite happily kill me, as I doubt the Doc would protect me if I was proven wrong [I'm guessing that if there is a doc, they might protect BillMc. Even if the doc doesn't think he is town, if the protection is successful, BillMc would likely be confirmed.]
Ma'at (193): Curiouser and curiouser . . . [this is the same phrase that Ed used and that someone felt was a breadcrumb. Could Ma'at be a back up cop or is that too much of a stretch?]
Ma'at (232): votes Archangel; this post looks scummy; he says meeko is his "next strongest candidate" behind Archangel but doesn't vote him.
SP (235 and 236): vote for Archangel which also looks a little scummy (i.e., trying to build a bandwagon to save meeko).
Nothing else really stands out except I do want to say that MHaye drives me crazy with his last-minute posts and votes!
All that being said, I'm still not sure who to kill. It looks like we have some good candidates for lynching toMorrow.
I'm thinking Ma'at or CIAS would be good candidates for killing. As for the votes, maybe we have Archangel vote for herself? She really does look scummy.

Since CIaS was out for me yesterDay It might make me look scummy? I'm willing to risk it if you all think that is a good shot. Meta gaming? Ma'at is a rookie. I think if she had any power she will get herself in trouble with town all by herself
If we use the 'low poster' votes the scummiest last day. it might work. but having a player vote themselves MIGHT backfire? If she is forced to vote someone else we get two players involved not just one?

I think we need to NK Moley although he has been wrong and could be a good target for a lynch, he does the most analysis.
I am good with having Archangel vote for Archangel. We just need to be careful because if she gets to lynch leader she could claim and then not be lynched.
